In the dawn of the 17th century, Mehmed IV claims the throne of the Great Ottoman Empire when he was only six years old. In 1672, Rising tensions between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth that have been weakened due to some internal conflicts and the Ottoman Empire that used to attack Polish territory and expand their borders even more through out Eastern Europe led to the establishment of a new Holy League that was initiated by Pope Innocent XI consisting of the Holy Roman Empire, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Venice, Tsardom of Russia and the Kingdom of Hungary. Even though some agreements have been made between the Ottomans and Russia, the Holy League will not hold back because of the reason that Mehmed IV has laid his eyes on the Habsburg Monarchy.
