ADhoc: wars of the roses
"game of thrones"

The Wars of the Roses, spanning the late 15th century in England, a complex dynastic conflict for the English Throne, fought between two noble houses: Lancaster, the red rose, and York, the white rose. A period marked by profound political turmoil, largely revolving around the figure of King Henry VI from the House of Lancaster, whose reign faced numerous challenges and revolts. The House of York, under the leadership of Richard, Duke of York, sought to assert its claim to the throne, citing a more legitimate lineage.

This chapter in English history, laden with dynastic aspirations, betrayals, webs of alliances and intricate politics remains a compelling study of medieval politics and power dynamics, inspiring the events in Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. In this committee, delegates will be battling to determine the faith of Great Britain, with a Game of Thrones twist throughout the events.
